Direct Deposit is the electronic transfer of a payment into your account. The payment can also be divided among several different accounts.

Direct Deposit is the best way to save you some time and is a FREE service. Your check will come to Catholic Federal Credit Union electronically and be deposited to your credit union account no matter where you are.

Payroll Deduction is the most popular Direct Deposit. You initiate this with your employer by giving them your Catholic Federal Credit Union routing number, account number, and an indication of whether you want all or a portion of your paycheck deposited. Direct Deposit can also be used for many other payments including:

• Tax refunds – receive your money up to 3 weeks early by having it sent via direct deposit
• Social Security or other government payments
• Annuity payments
• Pension contributions

Direct Deposit Instructions

• Sign up for Direct Deposit where you work. You will need to supply them with Catholic Federal Credit Union’s routing number and your account number.

• Your Catholic Federal Credit Union account number can be found on the bottom of your CFCU checks.
• Social Security direct deposit can be set up through Catholic Federal Credit Union's Accounting Department by calling (800) 798-2328 ext. 139 or by visiting www.godirect.org.
